On Friday, October 24, 2025, starting at 2:00 PM, an exhibition titled “Sklonište/Shelter” will be held at the D-0 ARK/Tito’s Bunker, organized by the Artnauts Collective, an art group from the United States.
The theme of this exhibition is SHELTER, which can be defined as: “a place giving temporary protection from bad weather or danger; a place of refuge. The protection provided by such a cover or refuge.”
Artnauts Collective brings together 60 artists who use their art to promote peace and understanding in today’s global context. Due to the significance and symbolism of the D-0 ARK facility—originally built as a nuclear bomb shelter during the Cold War to protect Yugoslav President Josip Broz Tito and his inner circle from the consequences of death and destruction—the exhibition will be held in this very location.
The exhibition will be attended by artists from the USA, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Croatia, North Macedonia, and Slovenia, as well as art historians and media representatives.
